The organization also administers programs for youth, including tutoring, recreational activities and education programs.

Primavera Foundation

    Tucson's Primavera Foundation (primavera.org) offers programs for needy and homeless individuals and families. The organization's rental-assistance program extends eligibility to adults who have custody of children under 18 years of age. Candidates must have received a five-day eviction notice to qualify, and the program only offers assistance once in a 12-month period. Rental assistance applicants must face financial hardship from circumstances such as unemployment, medical bills or unexpected expenses, such as car repairs. To qualify for rent assistance, candidates must demonstrate the ability to pay future rent payments.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

    The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix (stvincentdepaul.net) administers the Family Eviction Prevention program. The program offers one-time rent assistance to families that are likely to regain their ability to meet rent obligations in the longer term. St. Vincent de Paul also provides other services for needy individuals and families, including budget counseling and clothing assistance.

Catholic Charities
